April is World Autism Awareness Month!
Battleground South Bay is a collaborative functional fitness competition organized, managed and made possible by the generosity of volunteers. Proceeds from this charity fitness competition benefits the Train 4 Autism Foundation, a registered 501c3 nonprofit founded by parents of children on the autism spectrum.
Train 4 Autism Foundation has created strength & conditioning programs specifically for parents and their children affected by autism. These classes are coached by CrossFit Level 1 Certified coaches as well as certified behavioral therapists and volunteers at CrossFit 5150 in Signal Hill, CA. This program is made possible by the proceeds of this event and by the generous donations and contributions of people in the CrossFit community just like you.
